Cinnamon Mocha

Using coffee and cacao from two great projects in East Africa and adding a dash of cinnamon and mylk, our chocolate maker set out to make a chocolate that reflected Neza’s description of their coffee as “a warm hug on a cold day”. We hope this is how you feel as you savour this bar!

Neza (meaning “Greatness”) Coffee is a Vancouver-based coffee roaster whose owner/operator, Nadine, imports coffee beans directly from her family and their neighbouring farms in Rwanda. They also support genocide survivors through the sales of their beans.

Kokoa Kamili is a co-operative in Tanzania, working to improve the conditions, compensation and quality of cacao farming. The co-operative pays real value for wet beans, provides seedlings and offers agronomy support and education to farmers.
