Shiso is a herb that is used often in Japanese cuisine as a seasoning, garnish and in pickling. It is also known as perilla and is part of the mint family. It is part of the mint family, but has its own distinctive flavour. Here, it is paired with locally grown strawberries in an alt-milk bar.
