Strawberry Shiso

Shiso is a herb that is used often in Japanese cuisine as a seasoning, garnish and in pickling. It is also known as perilla and is part of the mint family. It is part of the mint family, but has its own distinctive flavour. Here, it is paired with locally grown strawberries in an alt-milk bar. I grew up loving the flavour of shiso and I am so excited to share it with you! I hope you love it as much as I do.
