“Acopio”, which means “gathering place” is the new fermentery of Cacao Verapaz in Cabahon, Guatemala. They established the Acopio in order to reach more interdependent farmers, who did not have access to associations and were at the mercy of coyotes. Since its creation in 2022, the Acopio now provides over 309 farmers with a reliable market.
This bar has notes of ganache, light fruit and a peppery finish.
