All bonbons are made with a 65% Tsiriari-Camino Verde (Peru-Ecuador) chocolate - cacao beans*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*
The sugar that is use throughout all the chocolate and house-made treats is directly traded from the Mandivura Co-operative by the La Siembra Co-operative

Day 1

Rhubarb Mylk. Starting the month with an earlier memory of spring. The rhubarb is from Forstbauer Family Farm, who you can find weekly at the Coquitlam & Port Moody Farmers Market, as well as the Trout Lake and West End Vancouver markets. Ingredients: cane sugar*, cocoa butter*, cocoa beans*, rhubarb*, mocambo beans, rice, hemp seed.

Day 2

Crystallized Japanese kanten sweet dipped in chocolate. Cane sugar*, crabapples, kanten (agar).

Day 3

Tanzania 70%. Classic and a fan favourite with cacao from Kokoa Kamili. Cacao beans*, cane sugar*

Day 4

Pears from Klipper's Organic Farm in Cawston BC dipped in 65% blend of Tsiriari, Peru & Camino Verde, Ecuador, cocoa butter*

Day 5

Karigane Ginger. An experimental batch that came out of the Year of the Snake Ginger Mocambo bar. Cacao beans*, cocoa butter*, cane sugar*, mocambo beans, ginger from Langley Organic Farm

Day 6

Haskap-Yuzu. BCB Honey, haskap berries from Kirkaberry Farms, yuzu juice.

Day 7

Our annual local fall/winter seasonal bar - Cranberry & Ginger. Cacao beans (Pangoa)*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*, Riverside Cranberry Farm cranberries, Broken Grain Organic Farm ginger*

Day 8

Crystallized Japanese kanten sweet made with Okanagan-grown peaches dipped in 65% chocolate. Cane sugar*, Rai Farm peaches, kanten. Chocolate: cacao beans*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*.

Day 9

Raspberry & Vanilla. Cacao beans (Tanzania)*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*, Abbotsford rasperries freeze dried by Origo Foods, gluten-free oats*, rice, coconut*, vanilla bean from Kokoa Kamili co-operative.

Day 10

Black Sesame filling: black sesame, BCB honey, cocoa butter*. Chocolate: cacao beans*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*.

Day 11

Pangoa, Peru 70%. Cacao beans*, cane sugar*. Traded through Cacao Life International

Day 12

Mint truffle filling: cacao beans*, coconut oil*, cane sugar*, mint oil*. Chocolate: cacao beans*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*

Day 13

Saskatoon berry. Cocoa butter*, cane sugar*, cacao beans*, freeze-dried saskatoon berries.

Day 14

Salted Raw Honey: BCB Honey, Vancouver Island Sea salt. Chocolate: cacao beans*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*.

Day 15

Sibling Harmony was created after I found out about mocambo beans (also known as jaguar, balamte, pataxte). Did you know there are at least 20 other Theobroma fruits? I didn't!

This chocolate reflects how the different fruit seeds work well together to harmonize into a lighter, slightly nutty flavoured chocolate: cacao beans*, mocambo beans, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*

Day 16

Ecuador 65% Rough Bite. For a while, I wanted to make a chocolate that was like a cookie and in the end, I just came back to chocolate, but just in a rougher, crunchy format.

Day 17

Celebrating that peaches returned to BC this year! Peach cobbler: cocoa butter*, gluten-free oats*, cane sugar*, brown sugar*, BC peaches freeze dried by Astro Foods, vanilla bean.

Day 18

Olive Oil Truffle: cacao beans*, cane sugar*, Famiglia Creanza olive oil.

Day 19

Cinnamon Mocha. A bar I originally made because, after I met Nadine of Neza Coffee, I wanted to create a chocolate with her coffee and also, I love a sprinkle of cinnamon on my morning coffee.

Day 20

Fresh Broken Grain organic ginger made an extra spicy candied ginger - housemade with our Paraguayan cane sugar.

Day 21

Qori Warmi, meaning "women who are worth gold", is a new bean for me this year and creates a beautifully complex chocolate. Here featured and a straight 72% chocolate.  Cacao beans*, cane sugar*

Day 22

Coco-Nog bonbon. Classic holiday flavour as we get closer to Christmas day. Coconut*, Maples' Sugar Shack maple sugar, nutmeg*, vanilla bean.

Day 23

Holiday Orange. Another classic holiday flavour made with oranges from a cooperative in the Badajoz region of Spain. Cacao beans*, cane sugar*, cocoa butter*, orange pieces*.

Day 24

While cherries may not be a classically holiday flavour, dried fruit is and these dried cherries are a great memory of summer in the darkest days of the year. I was also so happy for Snowy Mountain Farm, that they came back after a truly difficult 2024.

Did you know that Christmas Cake is Japan is a sort of Strawberry Shortcake? And so, this Strawberry Shiso chocolate is my Japanese Christmas Cake for you!
